About

Grant Johnson is a Technical Sound Designer based in Los Angeles, with a background in music production, recording, and live session engineering.
He began his career in the music industry, working with studios such as Church House Studios, Daytrotter, and Good Danny's, recording, mixing, and mastering countless sessions for artists including Ed Sheeran, Coheed and Cambria, and Mac DeMarco.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Grant transitioned into game development, returning to school to study game design and focusing on interactive audio systems. He later worked at Everi, contributing to music, sound design and implementation for iGaming experiences.
Today, his work bridges the gap between creative and technical, merging sound design with systems design and building immersive and responsive audio experiences.
